BEGINNER JEWELRY MAKING CLASS

In this beginner’s workshop of 8 three hour sessions learn the basic jewelry techniques of metal forming, soldering, sawing, texturing, and bezel setting. All necessary tools and equipment will be supplied as well as enough copper, brass, and some silver to create at least 4 projects. The student may purchase additional materials for more projects.

The prospective student should enjoy working with their hands and understand that producing pieces comes through practicing the various skills introduced in this class. This class is limited to 8 students. Please note that due to scheduling conflicts, there is only one make-up class available. You may finish work already started during the make up class that is available during the Monday evening or Wednesday morning jewelry classes. Should class be cancelled due to weather, a make up class will be added for March 6.

Students should come to class wearing closed toe shoes and shoulder length hair tied back.
