INTERMEDIATE JEWELRY MAKING CLASS 6-week session

In this intermediate level workshop of 6 three hour sessions. This class requires experience with soldering, sawing, and bezel setting. The intermediate student will continue to practice the techniques of metal forming, soldering, sawing, texturing, and bezel setting. More advanced projects using the aforementioned techniques will be introduced at the beginning of the class and the student has the option to work on the demonstrated project or their own design. The remainder of the class will focus on Individualized instruction geared toward the student’s skill level. All necessary tools and equipment will be supplied as well as enough copper, brass, and some silver to create at least 3 projects. The student may purchase additional materials for more projects. Should time allow, techniques such as enameling, casting, and prong setting will be introduced. This class is limited to 8 students.

Students should come to class wearing closed toe shoes and shoulder length hair tied back.
